How to Use Wired Garland on a Christmas Tree
Decorating the Christmas tree each year is a cherished tradition in many households. Some families trim the tree with large, color-coordinated glass bulbs and wide reams of ribbon while others add a more personal touch with individual keepsake ornaments collected throughout the years. Whatever your style, a traditional tree embellishment is wired garland in a color that will pop against the green branches. Wired garland is a delicate material that sparkles under the glow of tiny Christmas tree lights. Add garland after you string the lights, but before you hang your favorite ornaments. 4
Create 12-inch to 20-inch swags depending on your tree size and personal preference.
-
5
Bring the garland up and over the center tip of the next branch to create the first up swag. The swag should appear as an upside down "U" shape.

Swag up to the next tier of branches.

Begin your first swag down in the "U" shape so it dips below the peak on the above branch.
