Select a flight aggregator website. These act as search engines, gathering fares from various airlines and travel companies and displaying them on one page. Some popular flight aggregator websites include Kayak, SkyScanner and TripAdvisor.

Fill in your flight information. This includes whether you would like a round trip or one way ticket, your departure and destination, your travel dates, class, and the number of tickets you will need. Note that most flight aggregators will allow you the option of searching additional websites, such as Priceline and Orbitz.

Press the "Search" button. It will typically take a minute for the website to gather the fares. These will be displayed on the next page. If you have selected additional websites to search, these fares will typically pop up on their own separate web pages.

Browse through the list of fares. You will not be able to purchase the fares through the aggregator's website. Instead, click the link next to your fare to navigate to the airline or travel company's website in order to book the trip.
