How to Improve a Four Hour Drug & Alcohol Class

Improve your class by getting students interested in the learning process. Rather than lecture for four hours, to make students learn, give them the power and responsibility to make the class interesting by letting them give presentations. Of course, you will lecture and bring teaching aids to class; however, you can cut your lecture time in half by allowing your students to present material from the textbook the other half of the time. Assign each student a lecture with mandatory visual aids, such as posters, videos, and/or PowerPoint presentations. Student participation improves long classes and makes time fly.
