How to Make a Puppet Mouse
One of the easiest types of puppets to make for a kid's craft is a paper bag puppet. You can create virtually any type of puppet with a paper bag, including an adorable mouse puppet. There is no sewing or needles involved and the puppet can be made in a short amount of time. To use the puppet, simply stick your hand inside the paper bag and use your fingers to work the flap that's already folded into the bag.

1
Put your hand in the paper bag so that the bottom makes a flap facing you. Paint the flap gray with a paintbrush and some acrylic paint. Make sure to paint underneath the flap as well. Allow to dry.

2
Use scissors to cut a diamond that is approximately six inches from point to point out of a piece of gray construction paper. Cut out a one-inch circle from a piece of pink construction paper as well as two two-inch circles from a white piece of construction paper. These will be the parts that serve as the puppet mouse's head.

Glue the gray diamond over the front of the flap on the paper bag. Add the nose by applying a small dot of glue to the bottom point of the diamond (the point nearest to the opening of the bag) and securing the pink paper circle to it. Glue the two white circles where the eyes of the mouse would be, on the inner left and right sides of the diamond.

Color in the mouse's eyes with a black marker. Use the black marker to draw in some whiskers that sprout out from the sides of the nose. Allow the glue to completely dry.
