How to Clean a Barbie USB Scanner

This is a computer game that comes with a small USB-connected scanner. The scanner allows you to import images and edit the looks of the images on the program. However, as with other computer scanners, the glass of the Barbie scanner can become dirty with fingerprints, dust and other debris. To insure a clean scan, you need to clean up the scanner.

Things You'll Need

• Glass cleaner
• Rag

Instructions

1. Disconnect the Barbie USB scanner from the computer and make sure the power is off.

2. Open the lid of the scanner.

3. Spray the glass cleaner into a rag and wipe it over the glass of the Barbie USB scanner. Because the scanner is so small, it is only going to take a moment or two to clean off the scanner.

4. Hold the scanner to the light to see if you have removed all of the dirt, fingerprints and debris.

5. Leave the Barbie USB scanner open to help it air out. Plug it back into the computer and begin using it after the glass cleaner has completely dried.
