How to Erase a Blackberry Pearl Contact List
The Blackberry is a series of mobile smartphones. The Blackberry Pearl is one of the phones in that series. All Blackberrys include a robust contact list that allows you to manage contacts by name, number, email and address. Contacts can be deleted on the phone one at a time, but to delete them all at once will require the use of Blackberry's Desktop Manager software. The software allows you to add or delete a large number of contacts, transfer files to or from the device and update firmware.

Download the Desktop Manager software from the "Resources" link below. Double-click the .exe and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. Run the program after installation.

Connect the Blackberry to your computer using the USB cable.

Click the "Backup and Restore" tab in the Desktop Manager software.

Click the "Advanced" button. This will bring up all of the information on your Blackberry. Select "Address Book," Select "All" and click "Clear." This will remove all contacts on your Blackberry Pearl.
