How to Make Paper Lambs
-
1
Select the colors of card stock you wish to use. For standard sheep colors, you can choose white, black, brown, and pink. If you wish, you can choose other fun colors to get creative with.
-
2
Take a pencil and trace a simple outline of a lamb on the card stock. Draw it as large as the card stock will allow and make sure areas like the legs and ears are wide enough that they will be easy to cut around.
-
-
3
Carefully cut out the outline of the lamb.
-
4
Place a small dot of glue on the body of the lamb. It doesn't matter where you start.
-
5
Place a cotton ball on the dot of glue and hold it in place for a few moments.
-
6
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have covered the body of the lamb with the cotton balls.
-
7
Use markers to add additional details such as eyes, a nose, and a mouth if desired.
-
8
Leave the lambs standing alone, or if desired, you can glue them onto another colored sheet of card stock for a background.
-
9
Put the lambs in a safe place until they have dried completely.

Tips & Warnings
To add an extra element of fun, use googly-eyes instead of drawing them on.
If you don't want to draw the lambs, you can use a printer to print a picture of a lamb directly onto the card stock.
If you are doing this activity with small kids, it's a good idea to use safety scissors or have an adult cut for them.
