Instructions

1. Visit http://www.vans.com. Click on "Shop" near the top on the left, and when that page open, click on the "Customize" link, located on the left of the menu.

2. Select the shoe you wish to customize. You have three shoe choices: "ERA," "Slip-on" or "old Skool."

3. Select your gender and shoe size.

4. Decide whether you would like a black or white shoe. You can also choose from a number of preset designs to start.

5. Customize the color of each part of the shoe clicking on the menu on the right-hand side of the page. View the shoe from the side, top and back by clicking on the buttons beneath the shoe's image. To begin again with a fresh shoe, press "Start over."

6. Click "Add to cart" or "Add to wish list" once you are satisfied with the look of your shoe.
