How to Insert Photos in Email vs. Attaching Files

Inserting a photo, also called embedding, into an email is relatively easy. Attaching one can be simple as well. In order to send photos electronically, make sure that your browser is updated to Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. Keep in mind that the photo, whether embedded or attached, may be included with text. Understand that there are disadvantages to attaching a photo vs. inserting one. If that photo has a bug or virus, attaching it can cause that virus to infect the receiver's computer. Attaching a photo can also be harder for the receiver to view if his pop-up blocker is enabled.
