Open the drop down menu that allows you to select the type of file format you wish to use, which is below the date windows.

    • 4

Mouse down to the "Quicken QIF" selection. Your download window will pop up and allow you to name the file and select where you wish to save it. Use a name and location that is easy to remember while ignoring any messages regarding QIF and Microsoft Money.

Save the file and exit PayPal.

    • 6

Start your Quicken program and navigate to the account list. Open the Cash Flow/Cash Account that was set up previously. Mouse over and open the "File/Import/QIF option."

    • 7

Navigate to the PayPal account that was downloaded, select the file and click on "OK" when the QIF import window opens. Be sure that the box next to the import to option is the PayPal account.

    • 8

Select "Transactions" or any of the other options that are presented when the "Include in import" option appears. You must select at least one for the file to be useful. Select Next to complete the import.
