How to Avoid Arguements With a Child
Parenting children can be really hard, especially if you're raising a child who's constantly in trouble and doesn't listen to you. Children like this can often cause emotional stress and frustration in your daily life, which can lead to a lot of arguments between you and your child. Rather than having arguments or getting into small disagreements with your child, there are plenty of small things you can do to keep your child and you happy and prevent any potential arguments from taking place.

1
Talk calmly to your child if you are trying to get them to do something and they ignore you. Don't raise your voice or threaten them with any kind of loss because this only opens the door to an argument. Simply, ask your child in a friendly tone to please do what you ask and that you would appreciate it. Show your feelings first to your child so they know what is expected of them. If an argument is going to break out, simply walk away. By walking away, you're showing your child that they either do it or they don't; and it's that simple.

2
Always keep the communication between you and your child open. If your child has something to say then listen to them. Don't ever ignore them or dismiss their opinion too quickly because it makes them think their voice is not heard.

Stick to your punishments as you give them out. Don't be sucked in to your child's sadness or discretion because it shows them they can get whatever they want, and that is not reality. Remember you are the one who is in control and has the proper authority. Get out whatever kind of punishments you want, as long it's acceptable in terms of fairness to your child. Don't go overboard and take away their whole life because it won't work that way and your child will pick a fight with you.

If nothing seems to help with arguments, consider seeking professional help. They may be able to help you dig deep to the problems that are causing arguments and give you the opportunity to come to a solution and function normally once again.
