The first and most important part of increasing sperm count is to stop doing drugs of all sorts. This includes ALL drugs such as over-the-counter and even some prescription medications. Please check with a doctor before quitting a prescription, talk it over and if it is one that causes a decrease in sperm count, the doctor might be able to provide something similar. Do not take risk! Talk to the doctor and pharmacist. Some medications as mild as over-the-counter heartburn medication can cause low sperm count.

2
Stop other drugs such as recreational drugs and alcohol. Marijuana is a great contributor to decreasing sperm count. Sometimes a guy has to be off marijuana for several months before making a difference. Stay completely clear of steroids which can cause a man to become completely sterile.

Avoid hot stuff in the testicle area such as tight pants and underwear, saunas, hot tubs, excessive exercise or activities.

4
Stay healthy. Being slightly sick won't do much damage to high sperm count, but it can really hurt someone with low sperm count. Remember a bad infection can effect sperm count for several months. Give the body time and rest to bounce back.
