  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Clean, dry cloth

      Wet a dishrag or sponge with tap water and wipe away any crumbs from the stovetop.

      Generously sprinkle baking soda onto the glass stove top and distribute evening over the glass.

      Sprinkle water over the baking soda and mix with your hands to forming a paste.

      Soak the dishrag or sponge with vinegar and scrub the baking soda paste around the stovetop. The natural reaction between the baking soda and vinegar will create bubbles, which work to loosen the crusted-on food.

      Apply more vinegar to the dishrag or sponge, if needed, and scrub the stains away.

      Rinse the rag in clean water and wipe the stovetop again and again, until there is no more baking soda paste.
