How to Use a Blue Bulb Syringe for Congestion
A blue bulb syringe is a common and useful tool when your baby is congested. In addition to using saline drops to break up the mucus that is causing your child's congestion, the syringe will suction out the mucus making it easier for your baby to breathe, eat and sleep. Your baby may fuss a bit at first, but once you've cleared out some of your baby's congestion, your baby will feel much more comfortable. It's important to know the proper way to use the syringe to prevent any irritation or damage to the nostril lining.
