How to Remove History From Quicktime

Quicktime is Apple's primary audio/video player for computers. It is also available for Windows. Quicktime supports a wide range of formats including AVI, MPEG, MOV, and even DRM protected audio and video files. Quicktime also includes a search bar that allows for limited web browsing even though its primary use is for connecting to live audio and video streams. Any web addresses entered into the search bar are saved inside the program, along with any videos opened inside of Quicktime. All of this information can be removed easily, however, you will have to do this each time you want to remove history.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open Quicktime. Click "File."

    • 2

      Select "Open Recent."

    • 3

Click "Clear Menu." This will remove the URL history from the search box and the list of previously opened videos inside Quicktime.
