Add light foundation if you have problem skin. Use your fingers in a patting motion to apply eye primer to your eyelid.

Apply black eyeliner to your upper and lower lash line, as well as your tight line and waterline. Your tight line is located just below your upper lashes, and your waterline is located just above your lower lashes. It may feel uncomfortable the first time you apply liner there.

Smudge the eyeliner on your lower lash line with a liner brush--drag the liner brush in a straight line across the lower lash line. The smudge is meant to be a bit messy, so your line does not need to be perfectly straight.

Use a stippling brush to apply a highlight powder to your temples and cheeks.

Use a stippling brush to add raisin-colored blush to the contours of your cheeks. Your contours are located just below the apples. If you suck in your cheeks, you will see an indent where your cheeks are pulled in--these are your contour areas.
