How to Cut Fingerless Gloves

Fingerless gloves have made a come back in fashion. Not only are gloves practical but now the fingerless gloves are a choice of many celebrities when putting together a stylish outfit. Fingerless gloves bring attention to the wearer's rings and manicured nails. Fingerless gloves can be any length since the main fashion statement is the fingerless portion of the gloves, not the specific length they go up your arms.

Things You'll Need

• Long sleeved shirt
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Choose an old long sleeve shirt made from a fabric you would like for your gloves. This can be any kind of shirt as long as the sleeves are long.

2. Lay the shirt out on a flat surface.

3. Measure how long you would like your gloves by placing your hand and arm on each sleeve. The cuff of the sleeves will be worn where your fingers attach to your hands.

4. Cut the sleeves off of the shirt at the place for the glove length. Cut both sleeves the same length.

5. Turn the sleeves inside out.

6. Cut a half of an inch hole in the seam where the seam comes out from under the cuff. This hole will be for your thumb.

7. Turn the sleeves right side out and try on your gloves.
