Instructions

  1. Installing the Memory Card

    • 1

Turn off your Blackberry Curve. Locate the cover on the back of the Blackberry and remove it. It should easily slide off with a little effort.

    • 2

Remove the Blackberry battery. It's the large, thin rectangular piece in the middle of the open back panel.

    • 3

Locate the small metal sliding lock on the side of the compartment. Gently slide the lock down and it should easily open up, revealing the memory card port. If there's an old memory card inside, remove it by pushing down on the top. It should pop right up so you can grasp it and remove it.

    • 4

Take your new MicroSD (memory) card and insert it into the port. MicroSD cards come in a variety of gigabyte sizes, so make sure your card has enough memory to hold all of the media you wish to store. Then replace the battery and back panel.

    • 5

Access the main menu on your Blackberry Curve. Click on the "Settings" folder, which takes you to the "Options" menu. Then, select "Media Card" from the list of options.

    • 6

Press the "Menu" key, then select "Format Card" from the list of options. Click "Yes" to confirm you want to format the card. After formatting, the installation of the memory card on your Blackberry Curve is complete.
