How to Open Adobe Reader 9.0 in Internet Explorer

Adobe Reader is a free PDF reader created by Adobe Systems Inc. With Adobe Reader 9 you can view PDF documents directly through Internet Explorer. You can also fill out and sign PDF forms and make notes directly on PDF documents using the annotation tools.

Instructions

      Launch Internet Explorer and visit the Adobe Acrobat 9 website (see Resources).

      Uncheck the Google Toolbar installation and click "Download." Click "Install" in the dialog box that appears. The Adobe Download Manager will display a green bar that indicates your progress downloading and installing Adobe Reader 9.

      Restart Internet Explorer.

      Click on a PDF in Internet Explorer. Indicate your approval of the Adobe Reader 9 license agreement. When you click on PDF files in Internet Explorer in the future, they will automatically open in the browser using Adobe Reader 9.
