Instructions

    • 1

Unplug the washing machine cord from its electrical outlet. Move the unit away from the wall.

    • 2

Remove the screws that are found on the caps of the front control panel to the washing machine. There will be one screw on both the right and left side of the unit control panel (where the knobs are for cycling). Pull up on the control panel and forward, tilt the control panel up and over the unit, resting on its hinges.

    • 3

Disconnect the wire harness. These will be wires that run from the control panel and attach to the main case (top) of the washing machine. Pull the harness plug to disconnect the wires.

    • 4

Locate the spring clips on the right and left side of the washing machine top. Insert a putty knife and pry the knife toward the back of the unit, loosening the clips. Feed the clip out of the hole in the rear panel.

    • 5

Open the lid and hold it open. With your other hand, grab the opening to the washing machine. Put pressure against the unit with your body and pull the unit toward you, raising the unit slightly off the ground. This will depress the rear locking tabs for the cabinet removal. Lift the from of the cabinet away from the units base. This will release the front locking tabs. Remove the lid.
