Open up the fabric on a table and cut fabric in 7 inch strips lengthwise. You will have 3 pieces of fabric 36 to 46 inches long and about 7 inches wide. This will make three draft stoppers.

2
Working on one strip at a time, fold the strip in half lengthwise, right sides of the fabric together. Using the sewing machine, sew a ½ inch seam down the long side and across one short side. After sewing, turn each strip right side out. You now have a long tube with one open end.

Fill the end of the tube with about 6 ounces of rice. Fill the middle of the tube with Poly fill, alternating every four inches or so with rice. Fill the end with six ounces of rice. The rice will help weight the draft stopper so it stays in place.

Fold the open end in about ½ inch. Pin the end closed and sew it shut using a running stitch on the sewing machine. Complete the other draft stoppers as you did the first.
-
5
To use, push the draft stopper against the bottom edge of drafty doors.
