How to Clean a Toshiba DLP HDTV

Toshiba manufactures a line of high definition televisions (HDTV) with DLP (digital light processing) technology for more vibrant video. The flat-panel screens on these sets require gentle cleaning to prevent scratching and smearing on the glass surface. Care must also be taken when dusting to prevent static electricity buildup which could cause a short in the set and ruin the electronics. Special cleaning solutions for flat-screen HDTVs are available at electronics stores, or a homemade solution can be made for pennies.
