How to Make Honey and Cardamom Lip Balm

Honey and cardamom lip balm is a simple, natural treatment for dry, cracked lips. Lips tend to lose their moisture during the cold fall and winter months when winds are high and temperatures are low, and a high-quality lip balm can help keep lips from cracking and drying out. Homemade lip balms also eschew the use of chemicals and preservatives often found in commercial products. Making your own lip balm will also save you quite a bit of money over buying retail products. Tips & Warnings

  • Avoid mixing or storing any type of homemade skin care or cosmetics products in an aluminum container, as there is serious concern about heavy metals entering the body through the pores.
