How to Add Music to Grand Theft Auto IV

Grand Theft Auto 4 is available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and the PC. However, only the PC version will allow you to import your own music. Independence FM is a radio station exclusive to the PC version. It will seamlessly synchronize your audio files into the game and mix them in with the games standard commercials and radio dialog. Supported audio files include MP3s and WMAs. M4A files will also work, just as long as you have Quicktime or iTunes installed.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button in the taskbar.

2. Click "My Documents."

3. Select "Rockstar Games."

4. Select "GTA IV." Then select "User Music."

5. Copy and paste the music files you want in the game, inside the User Music folder.
