How to Replace Weedeater Line
Replacing your Weedeater line should be done periodically to ensure proper maintenance, and for safety measures. Lines often break due to wear, and the flying line can result in injury. When replacing the line, never use anything but Weedeater brand; replacing the line with anything not intended for your particular model is dangerous. Does this Spark an idea?

Push the engine stop switch and hold it until the engine stops. The Weedeater must be fully stopped before you work on it. Remove the spark plug to ensure that the engine will not accidentally engage.

Pull the tap button and remove the old spool. Replace the spool with a pre-wound spool. Take the ends of the line and insert them a half-inch into the small hole on the inside of the spool.

Tightly and evenly wind the line onto the spool going in the direction of the arrows found on the spool Leave 3 to 5 inches unwound, and push the line into the notches.

Insert the line into the exit holes. Align the notches with the line exit hole and snap the spool into the hub by pushing it into place. Pull the line extending outside of the hub to release it from the notch.
