How to Download Games to a Disk
There are literally thousands of games you can download off of the Internet to your computer, many of which are free of charge. These games can vary from standard board games to driving games, shooters and word games. Luckily, when you download your video game you are not forced to download the file to a specific location. You can place the downloaded file onto any disk where you want to store the content, from your hard drive to a flash disk or CD.

Navigate to the site from which you want to download the video game and select the file to download. Most likely, the game will download onto your desktop. This allows you to easily find it and move the downloaded file around.

Connect the disk that you want to place the downloaded file on to your computer. Your computer will state it has detected a new removable memory device. If you are using a CD, your computer may open a window showing the contents of the CD.

Select "My Computer" (it is also known as "Computer" in later editions of Windows) and double-click the removable device icon. If you are using a CD and it doesn't automatically launch a window, find the CD/DVD ROM drive here and double-click it. This will to launch a window that displays all of the content currently saved on the disk.

Leave the window open. Click and drag the downloaded file into the disk's window. Depending on the size of the file, this process may take several minutes.

Wait for the file copy to complete, then close out the removable disk's window. Right-click the disk's icon and from the pull-down menu, select "Eject" (for CDs, simply hit the "Eject" button). The icon will disappear. You are now free to remove the disk from your computer.
