How to Create a Facebook Page for Businesses
User profiles on Facebook are intended for individuals to connect and interact with one another and cannot be used for businesses. If a business is discovered using a personal profile, Facebook will shut down the page without warning. For that reason, Facebook has created "Pages," which is specifically made for organizations, businesses, bands, public figures or artists to promote themselves and create a "fan base." To create a business page, you need to have a personal account. The Facebook page is created from within your personal account.
