How to Make a Honey Dipper
A honey dipper is often an overlooked utensil since honey is just as easily taken out of a jar with a spoon. The advantage to using a honey dipper, though, is that its head is embedded with grooves that effectively hold the honey. Thus, there is a much smaller chance of spilling honey with a honey dipper than there is with a spoon. Set the wooden block on the lathe machine and only apply a minimum amount of pressure to avoid breaking the block. Turn on the lathe machine to begin spinning the wooden block.
