How to Pump Up a Thera-Band Exercise Ball
Exercise balls, like those provided by Thera-Band, have become a useful accessory for core strengthening exercises, Pilates, yoga and physical therapy. When used regularly, exercise balls can also help ease back pain and improve posture. To ensure lasting performance, Thera-Band exercise balls should be properly inflated, used indoors and maintained as instructed in the instruction guide.

- Thera Band Exercise Ball
- Thera Band Power Pump or Air Compressor
- Tape Measurer
- Pencil

Remove the Thera-Band Exercise Ball from the box, along with any packaging. Lay the ball flat on the floor to smooth out any wrinkles.

Measure with a tape measure the maximum ball height on a nearby wall and mark with a pencil. Thera-Band Exercise Balls have a maximum height based on color. The maximum ball height for yellow balls is 17.7 inches; red 21.7 inches; green 26.6 inches; blue 29.5 inches and silver 33.5 inches.

Insert the adapter provided with the ball into an air compressor, Thera-Band Power Pump or other high-volume pump.

Place the air pump adapter into air hole of the ball. Begin to inflate the Thera-Band Exercise Ball until it reaches the height mark on the wall.

Remove the pump adapter from the ball once the ball has been inflated to the recommended height.

Tips & Warnings
Standard bicycle pumps are not recommended for inflating a Thera-Band Exercise Ball.
Be careful not to over-inflate the ball.
