How to Download Music Videos to Your Cell Phone
Music videos combine the best of audio and visual performance. Since cell phones have become commonplace, and in order to accommodate the desires of cell phone users who like music (and other) videos, most cell phone manufacturers have produced cell phone models that can play and store music video files. In order to play a music video on your cell phone, you first need to download it to the cell phone. Only a few steps are needed to complete this process.

Finding and Downloading Files
-
1
Find a website that has the music video you want--good places to start are mobile24.com, phonevidz.com, 3gpmusicvideos.net and music.aol.com. Make sure the video is in a file format that is supported by your phone. (If it isn't, then you still can download it, but you'll need to convert it on your computer before putting it on your phone.)
-
2
Connect your phone to the computer with your phone to USB cable.
-
-
3
Follow the download instructions on the website. (Usually all you need to do is click a "Download Video" button or click on the video itself if the video is free.)
-
4
When your computer puts up the "Save Location" box for the download, select your phone's drive as the save location.
-
5
Click "OK" and wait for the download to finish.

Tips & Warnings
Always check the file size prior to downloading. If the file is very large, you may not be able to fit it on your drive, particularly if you already have a lot stored on the drive. If you are given download options in terms of quality, keep in mind that higher-quality videos will take up more drive space.
Try using lesser-known websites for your music videos if you have a slow Internet connection. These websites won't have as much user demand on the server, so you may be able to get your download faster.
Pay attention to user ratings of the videos from people who have downloaded the video you want. This can give you a great indication of the video quality and file integrity.
Avoid downloading using websites that blaringly advertise "completely legal" free downloads. A legitimate website that has paid for the rights to redistribute cell phone music videos should state somewhere on the website that it complies with the copyright laws for the videos and thus shouldn't try to redistribute videos with the lure of being "legit." Don't use websites where the videos are posted by users, as the users who upload to the site have not obtained redistribution rights. You may be able to find "official" download sites for your artists by searching their name or the name of their songs; these usually have an endorsement statement by the artist.
