Instructions

  1. Instructions

    • 1

Make sure the on/off switch is set to the "off" position. Close the drain valve at the bottom of the air compressor and check the oil level in the pump.

    • 2

Inspect the air hose, air compressor, and air-compressor tools for damage. If anything is damaged, you must replace it before operating the compressor.

    • 3

Connect the male air hose quick-connect plug to the female quick-connect socket on the air compressor. If you need to release the air hose, pull the collar back on the female quick-connect to pull out the air hose.

    • 4

Plug the power cord into a electrical outlet. If you need an extension cord, it must be no longer than 25 feet and have 12-gauge wire size.

    • 5

Switch the on/off switch to the "on" position. The compressor will build up air and automatically shut off at its designed air-pressure limit.

    • 6

Adjust the regulator knob to the correct PSI setting for your application. The tool's operation manual will specify the correct PSI.

    • 7

Turn off the air compressor when you're finished with your project and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.

    • 8

Set the regulator pressure to "zero." Remove air tools and accessories.

    • 9

Open the drain valve to let the air out of the tank. Close the drain valve once the tank is drained to prevent debris buildup in the valve.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always use eye and ear protection when using the compressor and when draining the tank. Drain the tank in a location where moisture won't be an issue. There will be condensation when the tank is drained.

  • If water remains in the tank after use, it could cause the tank to rust and rupture. Always drain the tank after each use.
