How to Change the Tail Light in a Jetta

The tail lights in your Volkswagen Jetta should be checked every six months to make sure that they are functioning normally. Non-functioning tail lights represent a safety hazard and are illegal on public roads. Replacement tail lights can be purchased from any auto parts store or from Volkswagen. You need the part number that is stamped on the base of the old light so that you can get the correct replacement light. When the lights do burn out, you need to know how to change them.
