How to Add Phone Numbers to Your Blackberry
One of the benefits of using a cell phone is the ability to carry contact information for everyone you call in one convenient location. Like most cell phones, the Blackberry has a phone book option, and there are a couple different ways to add new numbers.

The Number is in your Call History

Press the Blackberry menu button and scroll until "Messages" is highlighted. Click on the trackball to open the "Messages" window.

Scroll down with the trackball until you find the number you want to add to the phone. Press the Blackberry "Menu" button and scroll down to "Add to Contacts." When this is highlighted, press the trackball.

Using the keypad, type as much information about the owner of the phone number as you can. This can include her name, company, address, important dates and any other information you want to add. When everything is filled out, press the Blackberry "Menu" button.

"Save" should be highlighted. If it isn't, scroll until it is. Once "Save" is highlighted, click on the trackball to save the phone number.
If the Number is not in Call History.

Press the Blackberry menu button and scroll to "Contacts." Press the trackball once "Contacts" is highlighted to open the address book.

Press the Blackberry menu button once the address book is open. Scroll to "New Contact" and press the track ball to add a new contact.

Fill in the contact information, including name, address, all phone numbers, important dates, company name, and any other information you have. Press the Blackberry menu button when completed.

Scroll to "Save" and press the trackball to save the contact.

Tips & Warnings
Once the phone number has been saved, all instances of that number in the phone will appear with the name you gave the phone number. This will make it easy to go back through history to see when that person called you.
The phone number will show the first and last name that you gave it. If you need to find the number under another name, either leave that blank or put the name you need in the "First" field.
