How to Remove Bubbles from a Screen Protector

You have just finished placing a screen protector on one of your hand-held devices and you notice there are bubbles protruding from the screen. These bubbles are not only aggravating, but they also affect your view of the screen. There is no need to fret, you can easily get rid of the bubbles with a driver's license or credit card, and a little patience.

Things You'll Need

• Microfiber cleaning cloth
• Scotch tape
• Driver's license or credit card

Instructions

1. Remove the screen protector from your device and set it aside for replacing. You could also replace the screen protector with a new one if you choose.

2. Clean your screen with a microfiber cloth. This will help remove any dust or debris from your screen that may cause problems with the screen protector going on smoothly.

3. Lay strips of scotch tape over your screen. Cover the entire screen, leaving enough on the ends of the tape to pull up and away. Pull the tape off the screen. This will help clean and remove any dust or dirt from your screen.

4. Reapply your screen protector using the directions that were provided in the packaging. Use your driver's license or a credit card to smooth out and push any bubbles that appear to the closest edge of the screen. By pushing the bubbles out to the edge of the screen, the bubbles will be released, and you will have a smooth surface on the screen of your hand-held device.
