How to Convert Windows Sims Games to Mac Computer
If you've recently switched from a Windows PC to a Macintosh computer, you may find that many of your old games and software are not compatible with your new Mac. If you have copies of Sims games and expansion packs left from your Windows days that you don't want to re-purchase, there is a way to make them work on your Mac.

1
Use Boot Camp to install Windows on your Mac system. Boot Camp is a program that enables you to run Windows on your Macintosh computer. You cannot directly play a Windows version of The Sims on your Mac operating system, but, with Boot Camp, you can have a Mac OS X operating system and a Windows operating system running on the same computer. Boot Camp is already installed on Leopard and Snow Leopard Mac systems and can be found in the "Applications" folder and then in the folder within applications named "Utilities"

Using Boot Camp Assistant, install Windows on your Mac. You must have a legal copy of Windows on a CD to use it on your Mac. Insert the CD and follow the set-up process to install Windows so that you can use Boot Camp to run Windows and, as a result, Windows programs.
