Instructions

    • 1

Install the Blackberry Desktop Software on your computer, if it is not already. You can find these at the Blackberry website or your service provider's website, depending on where you purchased your phone.

    • 2

Go to "Program" files, then "Common" files.

    • 3

Choose the "Research in Motion" file, then "Shared" files, then "Loader" files.

    • 4

Find the "Operating System" file, then "Java."

    • 5

Look for the pre-installed theme files names. These should be: net_rim_theme_bbdimension_icon_320x240_b.cod; net_rim_theme_bbdimension_today_320x240_b.cod; and net_rim_theme_bbdimentions_l_320x240_b.cod.

    • 6

Connect your Blackberry to your computer using a USB cable.

    • 7

Select the "Application Loader" on the "Desktop Manager." It will then transfer your changes to your device.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not delete any other pre-installed files that have "theme" in the file name, as there are at least two such files that your Blackberry needs to function normally. For example, these are two files named from a T-Mobile phone: net_rim_theme_100_320x240_b.cod and net_rim_theme_bbdimension_zen_320x240_b.cod.
