How to Create a Pyramid
Making a model pyramid is an excellent student project, whether for art class, archaeology, or history. The pyramids were an important part of Egyptian and Mayan cultures, and creating one of your own is a great way to learn about those cultures.
Making a model pyramid is a simple but time-consuming task. It requires only a few supplies, but persistence and attention to detail are important.

Glue a layer of wooden cubes to the base. Make a five-by-five square of blocks and fill in the center with other blocks. The first layer will have 25 blocks.

3
Make a four-by-four square of blocks on top of the first layer. Glue each outer block two-thirds of the way in on the first blocks and fill in the center with other blocks. The second layer will have 16 blocks.
-
4
Build a third layer with a three-by-three square of blocks on top of the second layer. Glue each block two-thirds of the way in and fill in the center. The third layer will have nine blocks.
-
5
Build a fourth layer with a two-by-two square of blocks on top of the third layer. Make sure all of your blocks are placed evenly.
-
6
Place the final block in the center of the two-by-two square and glue it into place.
-
7
Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours. Spray paint your pyramid a color of your choice and allow the paint to dry before touching or moving your pyramid.
