1
Remove the old tires from the lawnmower. Save the C-clip from tires (this is what holds the tire onto the lawnmower). Take the tires to your lawnmower shop if you do not know the model of your lawnmower. Purchase replacement tires.

2
Put your lawnmower in gear and put the brakes on. Raise the lawnmower off the ground by placing blocks of wood under the lawnmower or using a jack. If you use a jack, position it under the frame rail.

Apply bead glue to the new tires. Position the tire over the rim, and using pressure, press the tire down, forcing the tire over the rim as much as possible. Using a flat iron, push the bead of the tire back inside the rim. Continue to do this around the tire until you have the beads in place and the tire on the rim. Inflate the tire. Use a pressure gauge to be certain the air pressure is correct. Follow the same steps for the remaining three tires.

Take the front tires and fix them back onto the mower. Screw the C-clip in using a flat-headed screwdriver. Position the C-clip in the correct location on the spindle. Push the rubber boot back over the spindle cover. Repeat for each wheel.

5
Take the two rear tires and fix the tires to the back axle one at a time. Tighten the axle bolt. Repeat for the second back tire. Remove wooden blocks or the jack and put the lawnmower in neutral. Take the brake off and store in the shed or garage.
