How to Uninstall Winzip
WinZip is a program that allows you to compress computer files or open and extract already compressed files to your computer. You can purchase the full version of WinZip from the developer's website, or download a free evaluation version. However, if you decide, at any time, that you would no longer like to use WinZip, you are easily able to remove the program from your personal computer by uninstalling it.

Open the "Start" menu by left-clicking the button on the far bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

Select "Control Panel" from your "Start" menu, by left-clicking it with your mouse. This will open a new window.

Double-click on the "Programs" icon with your left mouse button. This will open yet another window. From here, select "Programs and Features."

Scroll down the list to locate the WinZip program. Double-click the item, once located. An option will pop up to uninstall the program.

Click "Yes" to uninstall. Select "Next" through the prompts that follow, to uninstall the program.
Windows XP

Click to open the "Start" menu, from the button located on the bottom left-hand side of your screen.

Select "Control Panel" from the start menu by left-clicking the program. A new window will open.

Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" with your left mouse button. This will open another window.

Scroll down the list in order to locate the WinZip program.

Left-click on "WinZip." An option will appear to remove the program.

Click "Remove" to run the uninstall program. Follow the prompts in the uninstall program to remove WinZip from your computer.
