1
Try iTunes first. ITunes has a feature which will find album art for you. Open your iTunes and click the "Advanced" drop down menu. Then select "Get Album Artwork." This probably will not fill in your collection completely, but it will do most of the heavy lifting for you.

2
Download TidySongs. TidySongs is an easy-to-use application that will not only find album art for your iPod, but also fix any misspelled song or album titles, and fill in any other information that may have missing from your iTunes library. The latter functions only work fully in the paid version, but the trial version will find all the album art you need. Export your library. Websites such as Art4iTunes.com will automatically find album art for your iPod with a plain text file of your library. Click the "File" drop down menu, then select the "Library" sub-menu, then select "Export Playlist." Make sure you have not selected a specific playlist and that the only thing highlighted is "Music" at the very top on the left. Then save the Library in plain text.

Upload the plain text file to Art4iTunes. Click the browse button and find the plain text file you made. Upload this to Art4iTunes. It may take a few minutes, but Art4iTunes will search your entire playlist for album art.

Browse the results and find the album art that you are looking for. Enlarge the cover art and right click it, saving it to a folder to add to iTunes later.

Search Google images. When nothing else works, put the name of the album into Google Image Search. This is the most time consuming and least targeted method, but when you're trying to find obscure album covers, it's the only way to go.
