How to Clean & Restore Leather Baby Shoes

Things You'll Need

• Lemon juice
• Cream of tartar
• Lint free cloth
• Linseed oil
• White vinegar
• Petroleum jelly

Instructions

Clean Leather Baby Shoes

1. Mix one part lemon juice with one part cream of tartar to make a paste.

2. Work the paste into the stains and scuff marks on your leather baby shoes.

3. Wipe the mixture off with a lint free cloth.

4. Apply the mixture to the soiled area again if the stain persists. Let it sit for two hours before you wipe it off again.

Restore Leather Baby Shoes

1. Condition your leather baby shoes with straight linseed oil. Rub it into the leather using a lint free cloth.

2. Wait several hours for the oil to absorb into the leather on the shoes before you put them on your baby.

3. Wet a lint free cloth with pure white vinegar. Rub it onto the patent leather baby shoes to help restore their shine.

4. Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the outside of your baby leather shoes to add shine and to protect against water.
