How to Hook Up the Multitap for PS2

The PlayStation 2 multitap is a small device that allows owners to add additional controller ports to their machines. Normally, the PlayStation 2 comes with two controller ports. With the multitap, this number is increased to eight. This makes the multitap a great accessory for those who like to play sports games or any game that supports more than two players. The multitap is compatible with all versions of the PlayStation 2.

Instructions

1. Turn the PlayStation 2 off.

2. Insert a regular PlayStation 2 controller into the "Player 1" slot.

3. Insert the multitap into the "Player 2" slot. Add any additional controllers to the slots on the multitap.

4. Turn the PlayStation 2 on. Any games that take advantage of two or more players will recognize the multitap and the controllers connected to the multitap.
