How to Print Comments Without the Numbers in Adobe Acrobat

Acrobat Standard or Professional users can compile a summary of comments and input from reviewers and prepare a document in an easy-to-read layout. The software has automatic layout options in the Print function and in the Comment tool. The function to summarize comments can filter comments according to type, author, or date of review. While the software tracks the comments in sequential order, numbers can be suppressed by choosing a layout option with connector lines or a summary organized by page or author for a visual reference.

Instructions

    • 1

Select "Summarize Comments" under "Comments' in the top menu bar.

    • 2

Select the layout option to generate each page of a document with connector lines for comments (second option) or to print a list of comments only (third option).

    • 3

Select how comments will be sorted using the options in the drop-down menu next to "Sort comments by" (such as page, author, date, or type of comment).

    • 4
