How to Store Carrots for Juicing
Storing carrots properly will give you optimum flavor and nutrition when they are pressed into juice. Carrots survive in the refrigerator's climate-controlled crisper drawer for at least two weeks once there tops have been removed. Allowing carrots to reach room temperature before juicing will make it possible for the enzymes in saliva to digest more of the available vitamins and nutrients. Save money by purchasing a bulk supply of carrots and juicing them fresh as needed. Does this Spark an idea?
