Instructions

    • 1

The first step in making honey straws is to seal one end of the straw so the honey won't run away. Pinch one end of straw.

    • 2

Place tape over top of pinched end of straw and fold down on both sided of straw. Take another piece of tape and wrap around circumference of straw.

    • 3

Take scissors and cut small slit into one side of taped straw to release air before filling. Do not cut straw. Cutting slit on tape will release air and allow honey to go down into straw.

    • 4

If using a squeeze bottle of honey, take bottle, insert in hole and fill straw ¾ with honey. Honey should go down into straw without leaking out at slit. Put tape over the slit just as a precaution. If not using a squeeze bottle of getting honey in the straw can be a bit more difficult.

It may be beneficial than to take an unused medicine dropper and insert honey into straw.
