How to Connect Jawbone to Razr

Connect a Jawbone wireless headset to your Motorola Razr using the Bluetooth protocol. Before you can connect, you must pair the two devices. After the phone and headset are paired, they will automatically connect when both devices are on and Bluetooth is enabled on the phone.

      Charge your Jawbone headset sufficiently to provide a strong signal.

      Turn off the Jawbone headset.

      Turn Bluetooth on for the Razr. Press the Razr center button, then navigate through the menus selecting "Settings," then "Connection," then "Bluetooth Link" and then "Setup." Scroll to Power and select "Change." Scroll to On and press "Select."

      Move the Jawbone within three feet of the Razr.

      Put your Jawbone into pairing mode. Make sure the Jawbone is off, then press and hold the "Noise Shield" button on the Jawbone until the indicator light starts flashing (about three seconds). The Jawbone will remain in pairing mode for two minutes.

      Pair the Jawbone with the Razr. Keeping the Jawbone within three feet of the phone, press the Razr center button, then navigate through the menus selecting "Settings," "Connection," "Bluetooth Link," "Handsfree" and "Look for Devices." Scroll to the Jawbone and press the center key to connect. If the phone asks you to bond with the device, select "Yes" and enter the PIN 0000 (four zeros). When paired, the Jawbone will beep, and the indicator light will flash rapidly eight times.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you pair your Jawbone with more than one device, it will connect to the device with the stronger signal.
