How to Fully Uninstall Quicktime
QuickTime is a multimedia application developed by Apple Inc. QuickTime comes in two versions: basic (free) and Pro (must be purchased). Like any other application, QuickTime has its followers and its haters. In most cases, this depends on personal experiences and preferences. QuickTime is easy to uninstall under perfect conditions; otherwise, it can be a bit tricky. This article will arm you with the knowledge to uninstall QuickTime safely and easily.

Click the "Start" button on your task bar. Select the "Control Panel" option.

Locate the Programs section in the Control Panel. Click the "Uninstall a program" option.

Find QuickTime in the list of programs, and click it.

Click the "Uninstall" option near the top of the screen.

Follow the uninstall instructions. This is typically comprised of a couple of yes/no selections. This will get rid of the application but not fully remove it from your computer.

Click the "Start" button, and select the "Computer" option. Select your "C:" drive. Open your "Programs Files" folder.

Right click the "QuickTime" folder, and select the "Delete" option. When prompted whether you want to delete, select "Yes." This gets rid of the remaining files on your hard drive, but there are still entries in the registry.

Click the "Start" button. In the search box type "regedit," and hit the "Enter" key. The Registry Editor will open.

Follow the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apple Computer, Inc.

Right click the folder "QuickTime," and select to delete it. Now QuickTime is fully uninstalled.
