Instructions

  1. Transferring Movies to iPod

    • 1

Log onto the internet, go to roxio.com/mactivotogo and download the Toast 10 Titanium software. This program is specific to TiVo and Macs (because the iPod works exclusively with Mac computers). If you are transferring from another DVR device, you will need to find a program compatible with that particular device.

    • 2

Connect your computer to TiVo by clicking "Network Connections" on your computer. Select the TiVo network and open the TiVo icon on your desktop.

    • 3

Select a movie file in the TiVo menu and click "Transfer."

    • 4

Wait for the file to finish transferring to your computer and open the Toast 10 program. Select the movie file on your desktop and click "Toast It" in Toast 10's menu. The movie will now be available in your iTunes library.

    • 5

Plug your iPod into the computer using the USB port and open iTunes. Highlight the movie you have just transferred and drag it to the iPod icon on your desktop. The movie should now be on your iPod.
