Instructions

    • 1

Wash the fresh fruit and prepare it for the salad or the platter. Cut the fruit into chunks for a salad or slice the fruit into attractive slices for arranging on the platter.

    • 2

Place the prepared fruit for a fruit salad into the large bowl. Mix 2 tsp. of Fruit-Fresh with 3 tbsp. of cold water for each 4 cups of prepared fresh fruit. Pour the Fruit-Fresh mixture over the fruit and stir well to coat all of the fruit with the Fruit-Fresh. Do not drain--serve the fresh fruit with the Fruit-Fresh coating on it.

    • 3

Mix 2 tbsp. Fruit-Fresh with 8 cups of cold water in a large mixing bowl. Add the sliced fruit for the serving platter to the Fruit-Fresh mixture and mix the fruit around well in the water to coat the fruit completely. Drain the fruit from the water and arrange the sliced fruit on the platter for the fruit tray.

Tips & Warnings

  • Instead of the Fruit-Fresh product, consider brushing full-strength citrus juice over the outer surfaces of the fresh fruit. Use pineapple or orange juice if you are concerned about the tartness of lemon juice--any citrus juice works equally well. Apply the citrus juice liberally to all exposed surfaces of the fruit.

  • Prepare the fresh fruit immediately before serving if possible. This will also reduce the browning.

  • After preparing the fresh fruit and treating it with Fruit-Fresh or citrus juice, refrigerate it until immediately before serving.
