How to Transfer Ownership of a Domain Name
Domain names, like tangible goods, can be sold and transferred to new owners. Transferring the ownership of a domain name is a fairly simple process, but it can take up to a week to complete. The new owner must assist in the domain name ownership transfer for it to even get started.
